Pauline M. Stegenga, 84, of Streetsboro, died May 11, 2014 at Maplewood Care Center in Streetsboro.
Born Jan. 10, 1930 in Czechoslovakia to the late Frank and Katheryn (Bysaha) Sluciak, Mrs. Stegenga has lived in Streetsboro since 1959 and was a charter member of St. Joan of Arc Church in Streetsboro. She enjoyed her flowers and gardening.
Survivors include her husband Randolf M. Stegenga Sr. whom she married at St. Patrick's Church in Canonsburg, Pa. on Oct. 25, 1958; her children Janet Stegenga of Cuyahoga Falls, Mary Stegenga of Streetsboro and Randolf M. (Angie) Stegenga, Jr. of Stow; her grandchildren Ryan, Allyson and Trevor; her siblings Frank Slucia Jr. of West Virginia, Rose Mary Pallaria of Pennsylvania, Carol Fragapane of Virginia, Agnes Williamson of Indiana; and special friends Jeanette and Jack Lilly.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stegenga was preceded in death by her brother John Sluciak and step-mother Helen Buresch.
Mass of Christian Burial took place May 15 at St. Joan of Arc Church with the Rev. Fr. Pat Ferraro officiating. Interment followed at Evergreen Cemetery in Streetsboro.
