The Streetsboro Rockets football team qualified for the Division IV state playoffs this past season, thanks mainly to Dorian Williams.
The 5-foot-11, 190-pound senior was a standout on both sides of the ball.
Williams not only was one of the top running backs in Northeastern Ohio, but he also sparked the Rockets defense in the secondary.
The Streetsboro standout was rewarded for his stellar season by being named to the Division IV All-Ohio first team as a defensive back.
Williams was the only area player named to the first three all-state teams, but a pair of Streetsboro teammates -- Sam Creque and Brandon Gency -- were selected for special mention. Creque was a 6-foot, 240-pound senior offensive and defensive lineman, while Gency was a 6-3, 215-pound quarterback and linebacker.
