The host Streetsboro boys basketball team improved to 2-0 overall and 1-0 in the Portage Trail Conference Metro Division with a lopsided 77-30 victory over Akron Springfield Dec. 7.
The Rockets jumped out to a 16-2 lead and never looked back.
Jordan Matusik led Streetsboro with a game-high 26 points and Paul Jenkins added 14 points. Devin Rencher also reached double figures for the Rockets with 13 points. A total of 10 players scored at least two points for Streetsboro.
