X-Treme Select Soccer Club seeks players

X-Treme Select Soccer Club is back after a three year layoff and is shaping new teams for the coming weeks, months and years. The club is a non-profit organization that has players from all over Northern Ohio.

Players will receive the opportunity to compete with and against some of the strongest players in the region at a fraction of the cost of what you may pay at other Premier clubs. Each player will be provided with at least two training sessions per week and at least one game. Those that want more opportunities will find that they can/will receive them, such as additional group/individual training sessions, and extra playing opportunities.

X-Treme Select Soccer Clubs encourages all youth soccer players ages 6 to 18 in the area to attend open training sessions on Tuesday evenings at 925 Grant Street from 6 to 7:30 p.m. for ages, 6 thru 14, and from 7:30 to 9 p.m. for ages 15 and older, for the remaining winter months.

After each child attends a practice, an evaluation will then be sent to parents.

For those interested in joining the club, the player will be placed on a team that best suits their level of ability and where the coaching staff feels they will develop most efficiently. Beginners are welcome to come out as well.

Because the focus of the club is on development, each player that attends will have the opportunity to participate with the club in some capacity in league play (travel or premier), along with a variety of tournaments.

Contact club director of coaching Matt Safar at 330-323-3504, or at mattsafar@gmail.com, with any questions or on Facebook at X-Treme SC. The club's website will be launched soon at www.x-tremesc.com.
