Streetsboro All-Ohio defensive back to play football at Princeton

Streetsboro High School football standout Dorian Williams recently decided to continue his academic and athletic careers at Princeton University (N.J.).

The 5-foot-10, 175-pound running back /defensive back finished the 2012 season with new school single-season records in yards rushing (2,221) and touchdowns (27).

Defensively, Williams totaled 72 tackles, eight tackles for a loss, two sacks, six interceptions, three pass break-ups and three forced fumbles.

He was named first-team All-Metro Division, Northeast Inland District Defensive Player of the Year and first-team All-Ohio.

Wilson also recently was named to the roster of the Ohio High School Football Coaches Association's North-South All-Star Game in Dayton, which is scheduled to be played April 27.

The Rockets finished 7-4 in 2012 and reached the state playoffs for the first time since 1992.

Streetsboro saw its season end against Youngstown Liberty in a Division IV, Region 13 quarterfinal game.
