Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy routs Streetsboro boys basketball team

The host Streetsboro boys basketball fell to 10-7 on the season after losing a 75-51 decision to Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy Feb. 5.

The Royals jumped out to a 22-8 lead after one quarter and outscored the Rockets 42-27 in the second half.

Bob Peters led CVCA with a game-high 26 points. Four other players also scored in double digits for the Royals.

Paul Jenkins led Streetsboro with 19 points and Brandon Gency and Devin Rencher contributed 13 and 10 points, respectively.

CVCA also scored a 35-33 victory in the junior varsity contest.
