Streetsboro boys basketball team's season ends in sectional final

The Streetsboro boys basketball team's season ended in a Division II sectional title game March 2 at Stow-Munroe Falls High School.

The Rockets lost a 62-44 decision to Akron East. The Dragons outscored Streetsboro (11-12) 21-9 in the first quarter. The Rockets scored 18 points in the second half. East (15-8) had a 29-26 lead at halftime.

Jordan Matusik led Streetsboro with 16 points and teammate Paul Jenkins added 10 points. DaQuinn Nash had 17 points to lead three players in double figures for the Dragons. Derik Lewis and Demetrius Ray added 15 and 14 points, respectively, for East.
