The host Streetsboro boys soccer team lost an 8-0 decision to Portage Trail Conference County Division rival Southeast Oct. 10 at Glinatsis Stadium.
Rockets goalkeeper Daman Singh finished with nine saves.
The Pirates, who scored all of their goals in the second half, had a 17-8 advantage in shots on goal.
Host Streetsboro (0-14-2, 0-10) also lost a 3-1 decision to Beachwood Fuchs Mizrachi Oct. 10.
"It was a heartbreaker," Rockets head coach Paul Krzeminski said. "We were knotted at one for a good majority of the game. Some miscommunication led to the second goal and the third followed shortly thereafter.
"All in all, the boys left it all on the pitch. The seniors walked off with their heads held high. They really are a stellar group of young men. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to coach them."
Streetsboro is scheduled to visit second-seeded Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy in a Division II sectional title game Oct. 19 at 4 p.m.
