The Streetsboro girls cross country team placed sixth with 182 points at an eight-team Division II district meet Oct. 19 at Goodyear Metro Park in Akron.
Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary won the competition with 29 points. Also advancing to the regional meet were Woodridge (39), Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (82) and Field (90).
Woodridge's Madison Spreitzer finished first out of 67 runners with a time of 19 minutes, 42.56 seconds. The top 16 runners advanced.
Meghan Westerh led the Rockets with a 30th-place time of 22:53.42.
Rounding out the top five for Streetsboro were Megan Melice (36th, 23:41.22), Dana Bindus (43rd, 24:33.2), Madison Westerh (47th, 24:49.7) and Rachel Woods (51st, 25:44.94).
