Streetsboro girls hoops team rolls past Cuyahoga Falls

The Streetsboro girls basketball team improved to 7-4 on the season with a convincing 50-36 victory over Cuyahoga Falls Dec. 28 on the road.

The Rockets went on an 8-0 run that began late in the first quarter to take a 14-6 lead and never looked back.

Streetsboro built a double-digit advantage late in the second quarter and never led by less than 12 the rest of the way.

Forward Alison Targosky led the Rockets with a game-high 16 points and forwards Shania Williams and Marra Woods and guard Brooke Bolyard each had eight points for Streetsboro.

Guard Zoey Bosley led the Lady Black Tigers (3-7) with 13 points and Emma Freeman and Lexy Dieterich added nine and eight points, respectively, for Falls.
