Streetsboro boys basketball team edges Kent Roosevelt

The host Streetsboro boys basketball team improved to 12-6 on the season after posting a 64-60 victory over Portage Trail Conference rival Kent Roosevelt Feb. 7.

The game was tied at 50 heading into the final eight minutes.

Daniel Sapp led the Rockets with a game-high 26 points and Avery VanReeth had 10 points. Reggie Dublin and Jerry Judd each had nine points for Streetsboro.

The Rockets also posted a 62-53 win in the junior varsity contest. Dakari Carter led Streetsboro with 18 points.
