Staff report

The Streetsboro fifth-grade boys travel basketball team recently won the Don Moore Basketball Tournament hosted at James A. Garfield High School in Garrettsville.

The team, which is led by head coach Ryan Golson, won the title in 2013. The tournament had brackets for fourth-, fifth- and sixth-grade teams from surrounding areas.

The Rockets beat Rootstown to win the title. They also defeated Windham, Mogadore and Field.

The trophy is expected to be added to the ones the team won last year at Henry Defer Middl School.

Golson's assistants are Bob Boldin and Derrick Grabill.
